Why has the liberal media with its obsession with publishing opinion pieces by thirty something upper middle class women on the importance of work life balance and “me time” now so critical of President Trump starting work at 11 am after a bit of early morning television, catching up on social media and calling a few old friends for a chat?
There is surely no connection between the workload of the President of the United States and the time that it takes the third rock from the sun to spin once on its axis.
George W Bush came to the Oval Office at 6.45 am every morning and gave us the loss of blood and treasure in Iraq and Afghanistan. And 1977 to 1981 are a forgettable legacy to the diligence of Jimmy Carter.
And when it is also reported by those who seem to know that Barack Obama used to come to the Oval Office “between 9 am and 10 am after working out” – which to your correspondent suggests that he normally came in at 10 am.
And the most obvious question. Why will Trump spending more time being President be a good thing?
As with so many things, less really is more.
