There has been speculation as to why Donald Trump needed a seven car motorcade of black SUVs with tinted windows to go to and from airports on his way to New York.

How could a person without a day job, working from home and playing golf every day, need such a retinue?

A Trump spokesman, speaking on background as he didn’t actually know what was going on, denied that the cars were full of Pepsi, well done steaks and fantasy novels in case the next stop is Rikers Island.

However, everything became clearer when a Secret Service agent was heard to refer to “Georgia”.

It seems that Trump needs a separate car for each group of lawyers fighting the allegations against him. His limousine is followed by cars code named Check, Georgia, Documents, E Jean Carroll and Capitol (2 cars).

An aide, also speaking on background, later commented: “It’s all wasted money. What we really need is a good case. Not good lawyers”.
